• Defend the State and its agencies in worker’s compensation proceedings and proceedings involving the Second Injury Fund.
• Represent the state in civil litigation related to worker’s compensation.
• Support a high caseload and collaborate with attorneys and paralegals in a collegial environment.

• Graduated from an accredited school of law.
• Licensed or eligible to obtain a license to practice law in Iowa.
• Previous worker’s compensation experience preferred.

• Admitted to the Iowa State Bar and appropriate federal courts at time of appointment.

• Annual pay ranges from $62,337.60 to $, depending on experience.
