Job Description
Our client seeks an Associate Attorney – Personal Injury/Medical Malpractice to join their team.
This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity where you will earn up to $150,000 per year, based on your experience. Plus commissions! You will also enjoy an excellent benefit package!
To be considered for the Associate Attorney – Personal Injury/Medical Malpractice position, you must have:
- 5+ years’ experience in the areas of personal injury or medical malpractice
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Iowa
- Ability to handle large workload
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong emotional resilience and sensitivity
- Knowledge of tort law, civil litigation and courtroom procedures
Some of your responsibilities as Associate Attorney – Personal Injury/Medical Malpractice include:
- Meeting with clients
- Conducting thorough investigations
- Performing legal research
- Working with third‑party medical professionals and other experts
- Representing clients including depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
