The Project Executive – Gas Turbine Power Generation Industrial Markets will support the U.S. Power Generation Industrial market. Candidates will be based at one of our multiple office locations or remotely and are expected to travel up to 75% of the time.
The Project Executive is responsible for the overall success of assigned projects by overseeing construction operations and providing leadership and management direction. This role develops project team members, identifies continuous improvement opportunities, and assists with the creation of the business unit strategic growth plan and budget. The Project Executive typically reports to the Director of Operations.
What You’ll Do Every Day- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for large-scale construction projects.
- Manage project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site field management staff to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
- Manage and support proposal creation and the development of client presentations.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company’s interest and maintain a good relationship with the client.
- Provide leadership and direction to preconstruction teams in analyzing value to the customer, opportunities and risk.
- Coordinate project commissioning and handover activities.
- Manage project closeout activities.
- Maintain a strong network of industry related contacts for the purpose of expanding business opportunities.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.

Experience:
A minimum of fifteen (15) years in the power generation industry is required. Must have been the Senior Most Manager, Project Executive, or Director on a $50M - $200M project. - Skills:
Demonstrated firm judgment and communication skills, exhibiting leadership, business acumen, mentoring, and decision-making abilities. Effective resolution of conflicts, networking with clients, and a high degree of self-motivation. - Education:
An industry related bachelor's degree is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. - Technology:
Proficiency in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Solid experience with project management/scheduling software (JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling software, etc.).
