This is a hybrid position based out of our Des Moines, IA office.

What we’re looking for:

SHAZAM is looking for a Team Lead, EFTI Professional Services to provide technical expertise and project oversight for our EFTI Professional Services team. This role is responsible for coordinating project success, supporting team development, and serving as a key escalation point for internal stakeholders, financial institutions, and external partners.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the daily operations of the EFTI Professional Services team, ensuring successful execution of customer projects from initiation through completion.
  • Assign, monitor, and review project work to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to departmental objectives and service standards.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for project managers, internal teams, clients, and financial institutions, helping resolve complex issues and drive positive outcomes.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on card and processor initiatives, integrations, ISO messaging, and other complex payment technology projects.
  • Partner with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support product implementations, system integrations, and the rollout of new features and services.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex customer issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions across multiple product and system environments.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members while helping foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
  • Monitor project metrics, enforce established processes and best practices, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.

What you need:

  • Minimum of 2 years of banking, payments, financial services, or related industry experience required.
  • Previous leadership or lead experience preferred, with the ability to support and guide team initiatives.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams.
