Crystal Clear Water Systems is looking for a Branch Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our water treatment business.
This position is responsible for leading a team of five service technicians and two office staff while ensuring our customers receive excellent service and our operation runs efficiently.
Water treatment experience is not required. We can teach the technical side of the business. We are looking for someone who knows how to lead people, solve problems, hold a team accountable, and take care of customers.
The right person will be organized, dependable, comfortable making decisions, and willing to jump in when needed. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building a strong team and making an operation better.
What You'll Be Responsible For- Lead, coach, and develop a team of five service technicians and two office staff.
- Set clear expectations and hold employees accountable for performance, attendance, professionalism, and customer service.
- Oversee daily scheduling, service workload, installations, and customer needs.
- Help the team prioritize work and make adjustments when the day doesn't go according to plan — which occasionally happens when humans, equipment, and schedules are involved.
- Ensure customers receive prompt, professional, and reliable service.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and find fair, practical solutions.
- Monitor team productivity and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Work with technicians and office staff to improve communication and coordination.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop employees as needed.
- Conduct regular employee check-ins and performance reviews.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
- Help manage inventory, equipment, vehicles, and other branch resources.
- Track key performance measures and communicate branch results to ownership.
- Look for ways to improve processes, customer experience, and profitability.
- Take ownership of the branch rather than waiting for someone else to solve problems.
We are more interested in leadership ability and character than previous water treatment experience.
A strong candidate will have:
- Previous experience leading or managing employees.
- Strong communication and people-management skills.
- The ability to hold people accountable while treating them with respect.
- Good judgment and practical problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfort working in a service-oriented business where priorities can change throughout the day.
- A willingness to learn the water treatment industry.
- Basic comfort with computers, scheduling systems, email, and business software.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- A desire to build a strong team and improve the business over time.
Experience managing technicians, field service employees, tradespeople, or a service business is helpful but not required.
Our Core Values Customer FirstWe make decisions with the customer in mind. We communicate clearly, follow through on our commitments, and work to earn long-term trust.
Do the Right ThingWe act with integrity, even when no one is watching. We take responsibility for our decisions and treat customers, coworkers, and the company with respect.
Problems are part of every business. We expect our leaders to approach them calmly, constructively, and with a focus on solutions.
What Success Looks LikeA successful Branch Manager will build a branch where:
- Employees know what is expected of them.
- Good employees are recognized, developed, and retained.
- Performance issues are addressed rather than avoided.
- Technicians are productive and prepared for their work.
- Office and field employees communicate well.
- Customers receive consistent, professional service.
- Problems are handled quickly and don't routinely make their way to ownership.
- The branch becomes more organized, efficient, and profitable over time.
You don't need to know everything about water treatment on day one.
You do need to be someone people can rely on.
We're looking for a leader who communicates clearly, follows through, treats people fairly, and isn't afraid to make decisions. Someone who can balance taking care of customers with taking care of the business.
If you enjoy leading a team, improving operations, and taking ownership of results, we'd like to talk with you.
