Insert Operator

Shift: 2nd shift – 4 pm to midnight

As an Insert Operator, you will play a vital role in our mail processing operations, ensuring efficient and accurate insertion of various documents. You will operate and troubleshoot automatic mail‑inserting machines, maintain productivity, timeliness, and quality standards, and exceed client expectations.

• Adhere to all assigned job schedules and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Utilize various types of inserting equipment to accurately insert client statements, invoices, checks, and other documents according to job specifications.
• Set up and operate inserting machines based on job requirements, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
• Conduct frequent quality checks during machine operation to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Complete all necessary paperwork or system entries accurately and promptly.
• Perform any other tasks deemed necessary to support the smooth operation of the mail processing department.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in mail processing or related fields is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality related to handling critical mail and adherence to company quality standards and procedures.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Flexibility to work required hours, especially during peak production times.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot issues during machine operation.
