Purpose
Support manufacturing and distribution by accurately identifying, moving, and organizing materials, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role contributes to efficient workflow and production by ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and removal of finished goods.

Essential Functions
Transport and Stage Materials (30%)
Move raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products using forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment. Deliver items directly to production teams and designated storage areas to support steady workflow.
Prepare for Production (20%)
Read work orders and identify required parts to support upcoming manufacturing needs. Stage and organize materials in alignment with production priorities, helping teams stay on schedule.
Complete Records and Check Material Quality (20%)
Log work activities, time, and part movements in Kronos and job tracking systems. Spot-check materials for accuracy and quality during handling and stocking.
Maintain Equipment and Work Areas (15%)
Clean, organize, and reset material staging zones throughout the shift. Perform basic preventive care on handling equipment to keep tools in working order and avoid disruptions.
Follow Safety and Work Standards (15%)
Use PPE and follow established safety and environmental practices. Speak up about hazards or unsafe behaviors and participate in regular safety training to protect yourself and your team.
Additional duties may be assigned as required by business necessity may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing to meet organizational goals and priorities.
Qualifications
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. - Experience:
Ability to read blueprints; experience operating forklifts, bridge cranes, hoists, or similar equipment preferred. - Other Requirements:
Proficiency with imperial and metric measurements.
