Cable Assembly

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Cable Assembler to join their team. As a Cable Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting electronic and mechanical cable assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and manual dexterity, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cable Assembly

Location: Des Moines, IA

Pay Range: $18 - $19

Shift: 1st Shift or 2nd Shift (Monday - Thursday)

1st shift: 7:30am-4:00pm

2nd shift: 4:00pm - 2:30am

• Perform a variety of assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical cable assemblies and electrical sub-assemblies
• Utilize written instructions, drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams during production
• Use knowledge of cable/wire termination and crimping specifications for semi-automatic and manual tools
• Operate hand and power tools for assembly processes efficiently and accurately
• Meet productivity standards and production deadlines in a manufacturing environment

• Proficiency in verbal and written communication
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and wiring diagrams accurately
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/8 of an inch
• Good manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 30 lbs periodically
• No prior experience required; open to candidates eager to learn and grow
