Monday - Friday; 7am - 3:30pm; OT and Saturdays as required - Pay Range: $20 - $23+/hour, depending on experience, training, and education; overtime and additional bonuses available

Assists the General Manager and Supervisors in overseeing all plant functions related to material processing, shipping, and receiving. In addition, the Floor Group Leader assists the maintenance employees as needed. In the absence of the Supervisor, this position is responsible for overseeing all plant operations in accordance with established company policies.
Essential Functions- Provides direction and instruction to production staff regarding conduct or performance related to processing.
- Leads the Toolbox Talk and gives assignments in the absence of the Production Supervisor.
- Ensures the processing of various commodities meets the production schedules for the month.
- Must be able to perform essential functions in a loud, wet, dusty, and physically demanding work environment, including in extreme hot and cold temperature variations.
- Push, pull, and lift various forms of material from ground level, off conveyor lines, or other surfaces within the production plant with body, arms, and hands.
- Separate, sort, and process all materials with arms and hands onto the conveyor line.
- Load and/or unload material on trailers and conveyors by use of mobile equipment such as forklift, skid steer, or front‑end loader.
- Load and/or unload material with body, arms, and hands or use of pallet jack or hand truck dolly.
- Assist with daily inventory, which includes physically counting rows/stacks of commodity bales throughout the production floor.
- Must be able to interact in person with peers and management for the duration of the shift with face‑to‑face interactions, use of handheld radio, and group meetings.
- Assists in the processing of all material in the production positions as needed.
- Ensures that all areas of operations are performed in accordance with established company policies, ISO procedures, and standards.
- Reports all serious personnel issues to the General Manager or Supervisor.
- Communicates and records accurate accounts in the daily log book in the absence of the supervisor.
- Train new employees & ability to train others while performing the essential duties of this job.
- Provide support during vacations, time off, etc., of the supervisor and personnel.
- Maintains a safe work environment by overseeing employees to make certain OSHA, safety rules and regulations, and company safety policy are followed.
- Constantly stands and walks for the duration of the shift.
- Occasionally performs repetitive movements such as bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting.
- Occasionally lift, carry, and position material weighing up to 50lbs.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
