What You'll Do
As a Senior Marketing Strategist on our B2C Marketing Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Acquisition marketing strategy for individual participant investment planning and products.
Your primary focus will be on deepening engagement, while driving adoption through innovative, data-driven campaigns. Leveraging your advanced expertise in financial planning and wealth management marketing, you will act as a strategic marketing partner across business units.
Additionally, you will lead the go-to-market strategy and drive operational transformation for Managed Services offerings in individual investment products, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and collaboration across cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Marketing Campaign Strategy, Execution & Optimization
- Lead development and execution of acquisition marketing strategies for individual participant personal investment planning & products.
- Design campaigns to strengthen, deepen engagement, and drive adoption of personal investment solutions.
- Apply test‑and‑learn methodologies to refine approaches and maximize lifetime value. Prioritizing creative testing and audience segmentation strategies.
- Partner with product, content, marketing strategist and web experience teams to create integrated cross‑channel promotional strategies.
- Ensure messaging consistency across email, direct mail, and digital experiences to drive engagement and incremental sales between personal investing and broader retirement product offerings.
- Data & Insights Application
- Leverage data insights to optimize messaging, offers, and targeting strategies across multiple platforms.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of modeling, analytics, and consumer insights to inform acquisition and promotional strategies.
- Track, analyze, and communicate campaign results, using findings to improve future performance.
- Stakeholder Influence
- Partner with and influence leaders across product, marketing, and digital teams to align on business objectives.
- Advocate for sustainable direct marketing experiences that support both acquisition and growth.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of direct-to-consumer marketing experience.
- 4+ years of recent experience in sales strategy within managed services in the Financial Services and/or Fintech industry, with demonstrated experience supporting marketing strategies for wealth management, personal investing, or financial advice offerings.
- Advanced knowledge of omnichannel marketing strategies (email, direct mail, digital).
- Experience influencing business decisions, facilitating and/or participating in cross‑functional teams, motivating and collaborating with key stakeholders, and implementing change management.
- Experience building strategic marketing programs that deliver on business goals.
- An understanding of the competition and market opportunities and customer experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid strategic and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across teams.
- Project and time management skills required for working within a fast‑paced, nuanced business; must be able to juggle multiple projects and timelines at once.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel, are required.
- Banking industry background is a plus.
- Some travel required, including overnight stays.
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non‑sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
