Job Description

Talkspace is seeking a Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing mental healthcare to individuals who lack easy access to it.

The role involves treating patients in your state(s) of licensure, conducting initial Psychiatric Diagnosis Interview Examinations (PDE) and Evaluation & Management (E/M) sessions, and using the Talkspace platform to conduct video call sessions with patients and manage patient treatment plans.

• Treat patients in your state(s) of licensure
• Conduct initial Psychiatric Diagnosis Interview Examinations (PDE) for new patient referrals and Evaluation & Management (E/M) sessions for established patients
• Use the Talkspace platform to conduct video call sessions with patients, submit clinical documentation, and manage patient treatment plans
• Coordinate with the Talkspace psychiatry team as needed

Compensation includes:

• $110 per initial session with a new patient referral (Psychiatric Diagnosis Interview Examination - 45-60 min)
• $30-$85 per follow-up session with an established patient, depending on the length of the session (Evaluation and Management - 10-49 min)

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• An active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Iowa state and 2+ years prescribing experience
• Active DEA and individual NPI number
• Submission of a fully completed, signed CAQH application
• Reliable internet connection
• Independent liability insurance; minimum coverage amount required is $1 million occurrence/$3 million aggregate
