Registered Nurse – Curtis Unit (Iowa) Shift &
Hours:
Same-day clinical interviews; 36–40 hrs/week (OT billable after 40), 48 hrs/week (OT billable after 48)
Experience:
Professional nursing skills required; float across Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran, & Iowa Methodist Bed Size / Ratios: 30 beds | 1:4–5 Patient Types:
Hip/knee, mastectomies, abdominal surgeries Drips: PCA, Heparin EMR:
Epic Certifications / Billing: NBO: 16 hrs OT/Holiday: 1.15× multiplier Call back: 1.5× multiplier (min 2 hrs) On-call: $9/hr Charge/Precept: $6/hr Holidays 2025:
Work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving) Time-off Restrictions:
Max 1 day off between 11/26–11/30 and 12/23–1/2 for all travelers Locals:
Accepted within 50 miles (10% bill rate reduction) Ratio / Float:
Travel across all campuses as needed
