Role Overview
The RN (Cath Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab) specialises in working with patients undergoing cardiac procedures in a catheterization lab. During cardiac catheterizations, this specially trained nurse assists the medical team by monitoring the patient’s vitals, assisting with procedural sedatives, assisting doctors, technicians, nurses and the patients.
Minimum Requirements- Registered Nurse with a current state license where they will be working.
- ACLS may be required by state/client contract.
- Minimum of 2 years critical care or Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.
- Current CPR if applicable.
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
