RN - Cath Lab

Role Overview

The RN (Cath Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab) specialises in working with patients undergoing cardiac procedures in a catheterization lab. During cardiac catheterizations, this specially trained nurse assists the medical team by monitoring the patient’s vitals, assisting with procedural sedatives, assisting doctors, technicians, nurses and the patients.

• Registered Nurse with a current state license where they will be working.
• ACLS may be required by state/client contract.
• Minimum of 2 years critical care or Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
