Travel RN - Pediatric ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit position requiring PICU experience, an IA or compact RN license, and the ability to float to NICU.

Job Details

• Work in a 12-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with private rooms and pediatric critical care team,

• Care for critically ill or injured infants, children, and teens,

• May be required to float to NICU (assigned stable neonates such as 'feeders and growers') and to ED patient holds,

• Patient care provided in a family-centered environment with state-of-the-art equipment,

• Epic EMR is used and prior experience with Epic is required,

Job Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required at time of consideration,

• Minimum of 24 months of current PICU experience required,

• Current AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required,

• Experience with Epic EMR required,

• Must be able to float to NICU and ED patient holds as needed,

• Driver's license required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Daily responsibilities include high-acuity PICU nursing care and potential float assignments to NICU 'feeders and growers' patients,

• Orientation provided based on unit needs,

• Collaborate with pediatric transport and multidisciplinary critical care team,

• A recent performance reference from a supervisor or charge nurse is preferred,
