Shift: Days, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM, three shifts per week, Monday–Friday. Weekend coverage as needed, approximately every fourth weekend.

Requirements:

• 24 months of current hospital OR experience
• Circulating experience
• Experience with General Surgery, da Vinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma
• EPIC experience within the past 3 years
• Trauma Level II experience
• Completed a travel assignment within the past 15 months; first-time travelers not accepted
• Active Iowa or Compact RN license
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Willingness to float between Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Iowa Lutheran Hospital

Preferred: Scrub experience, Level I Trauma experience, and experience in Neurology, Orthopedics (primarily trauma), Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, ENT, and Vascular Surgery.

Weekend Requirements: Call/coverage as needed approximately every fourth weekend, with schedules potentially running Friday through Monday morning.

Submission Requirements:

• Resume/work history documenting 24 months of current OR experience
• OR nursing and scrubbing skills checklists
• Active Iowa or Compact license verification through Nursys
• Driver’s license
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS
• Professional reference or performance evaluation from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred

Additional Information: EPIC EMR. Facility-provided scrubs. Must work 1–2 of the upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed. Candidates are being interviewed quickly.
