Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, four 10-hour shifts per week, starting at 6:30 AM, with a rotating day off. Holiday rotation required.

Requirements:

• 24 months of current hospital OR experience
• OR circulating experience
• Experience with General Surgery, da Vinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma
• EPIC experience within the past 3 years
• Trauma Level II experience
• Completed a travel assignment within the past 15 months; first-time travelers not accepted
• Active Iowa or Compact RN license
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Willingness to float between Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Iowa Lutheran Hospital

Preferred: Scrub experience, including orthopedic scrubbing;
Level I Trauma experience; and experience in Neurology, Orthopedics (primarily trauma), Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, ENT, and Vascular Surgery.

Call Requirements: One overnight call shift per week and three weekends per 13-week assignment.

Submission Requirements:

• Resume/work history documenting 24 months of current OR experience
• OR nursing and scrubbing skills checklists
• Active Iowa or Compact license verification through Nursys
• Driver’s license
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS
• Professional reference or performance evaluation from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred

Additional Information: EPIC EMR. Facility-provided scrubs. Must work 1–2 of the upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed. Candidates are being interviewed quickly.
