Experience:
Minimum of 24 months in Medical-Surgical nursing in a hospital setting required. License:
Active Iowa or Compact Multistate Nursing License required.
Certifications:
BLS required. Must-Have:
- Strong experience in Renal care required.
- Strong experience in Urology care required.
- Proficient in Transplant care required.
- At least one travel contract completed within the previous 15 months required.
- EPIC Electronic Medical Record experience required.
- Level II trauma experience required.
- Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, or director within the last 24 months preferred.
Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 24 months of current Medical-Surgical experience. Experience in Renal and Urology care is required. Proficiency in Transplant care is necessary. The ability to float across multiple campuses is required. Candidates must be prepared to work 1-2 of the upcoming winter holidays, including Thanksgiving.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6. Candidates must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential. Professionalism and a commitment to high-quality patient care are expected.
