Sales Merchandiser

• Collaborate with our Corporate Sales Team to establish strategic growth in the Des Moines regional market.
• Collaborate very closely with our Sales/Marketing and Distribution leadership to ensure that our customers achieve 100% satisfaction.
• Customer focused - must be able to maintain and develop strong relationships with our customer base.
• Promote our brand in a professional manner.
• Must be able to work on Saturdays and Sundays.

• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
• Strong ability to perform both “cold calls” or direct sales leads.
• Strong understanding of pricing structures and mathematics.
• Strong organization skills and detail oriented.
• Strong computer skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills.
• Strong ability to make quick and accurate decisions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or related field is PREFERRED, we will consider demonstrated professional experience in lieu of education.
• Recent college graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience is the grocery or food/beverage distribution preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
