We are currently seeking a Window & Door Consultant to launch and grow a new business in Des Moines, Iowa.

The Kolbe Gallery of Des Moines is a new business serving Des Moines and greater Iowa as a dealer of Kolbe® Windows & Doors. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional who wants to sell exceptional products that are recognized in the industry for their innovative design and superior quality. The Window & Door Sales Consultant will have the opportunity to help launch and grow the business, build strong customer relationships, develop the territory, and build a strong presence in the territory.

Responsibilities include:

1. Represent Kolbe Gallery and Kolbe Windows & Doors with a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services and use a solutions-based sales approach to address the customers’ needs.

2. Develop and implement a territory sales plan with guidance from General Manager.

3. Represent Kolbe Gallery at trade conferences and consumer home shows as needed.

4. Prepare and deliver product presentations and demonstrations for builders, remodelers, and homeowners.

5. Maintain ongoing relationships with existing customers.

6. Generate new business and build relationships with influencers through strategically planning a daily schedule to call on existing and potential remodelers, builders, and designers.

Education Requirement:

1. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Qualifications:

1. Excellent presentation skills with small and large groups.

2. Excellent analytical skills.

3. The ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization.

4. Read blueprints and do take-offs.

5. Respond to requests quickly and systematically.

6. Handle multiple projects at one time.

8. Prioritize and maintain a proactive schedule while remaining flexible in order to quickly respond to customer needs and adapt to environmental changes.

9. Lift samples and literature up to 50 pounds.

10. Ability to perform minor service work in the field.

Knowledge and

Experience:

1. One-year industry related experience.

2. Superior written and verbal communication skills.

3. Self-motivated and demonstrate good organizational skills.

4. The ability to deliver presentations to a variety of different audiences.

5. Experience working in Microsoft 365 applications and Zoho CRM.
