Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components
  • Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after‑hours on‑call rotations
  • Accurately document all service details using company‑provided iPads
  • Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards
  • Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery
  • Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers
  • Provide the highest level of technical ability, quality, value, and integrity to our customers
  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration units for commercial customers
  • Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain replacement parts, calibrate systems to manufacturer’s recommendations, and explain the need for and value of recommended solutions
  • Participate in company‑provided training opportunities
  • Travel to job sites in service area and work with dispatcher to maintain schedule and communicate delays
  • Be available to work nights, weekends, or holidays on a rotating basis for emergency service needs
  • Document details of services and parts provided electronically through iPad applications
  • Identify and report potential opportunities for additional business (new units, PM contracts, and additional services)
Key Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician
  • EPA certification and a valid driver’s license
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans
  • Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology
  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to safely work at heights using ladders up to 28‑32 feet and operate equipment within manufacturer weight limits
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver tools and equipment, including extension ladders, up to 100 lbs
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach into confined spaces, and perform twisting, pushing, and pulling tasks
  • Must maintain physical stamina and endurance for repetitive tasks and extended activity
  • Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders throughout the day
  • Must use vision, hearing, and verbal communication continuously
  • Must operate work‑related equipment such as iPads, cell phones, and computers
  • Must be able to travel to customer sites as needed
  • Required to occasionally work in an office environment
  • Required to follow all applicable safety procedures
