Immediately Hiring Carpenters - Can Start ASAP

Location: Grimes, IA Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 6am - 4pm Pay: $20 - $26 / hour starting wage

Looking to put your carpentry skills to work on meaningful residential projects? We’re hiring Carpenters to join a tight-knit team tackling multifamily builds, apartment complexes, and retirement communities. If you’re detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to grow your career, this is your chance.

• Install and trim windows and doors (about 2/3 of your daily tasks)
• Frame rooms, decks, and install cabinets
• Perform remodels and tenant improvement work
• Travel to job sites with your crew after morning dispatch from the shop
• Keep work areas clean and organized

• 2+ years of general carpentry experience
• Strong tape measure and cutting skills
• Ability to hang doors and trim windows with precision
• Experience in finish carpentry, millwork, drywall, cabinetry, and blueprint reading
• Valid driver’s license preferred (CDL A a plus)
• Professional attitude and team-first mindset

Start your day at the Grimes shop with a team of 8 carpenters and over 100 total staff. Projects vary daily, and occasional Saturday work may be required during peak seasons. You’ll enjoy a well-equipped, comfortable workspace and a team that values craftsmanship and camaraderie.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
