As the Fleet Mechanic Technician, you will perform repair work and maintenance for company vehicles and equipment. This position will work on new builds and repairs to vehicles in the current fleet with a focus on hydraulics and fabrication.

Responsibilities of the Position
  • Troubleshoots mechanical problems, performs new builds in accordance with needs, and makes repairs to truck beds.
  • Performs tests on specific parts and systems to confirm proper mechanical function, ensuring that all critical parts are examined.
  • Wiring for operating systems of vehicle and all lights.
  • Performs hydraulic maintenance—including identifying issues, installing hoses/fittings, and plumbing.
  • Ensures parts are ordered timely and inventory remains stocked.
  • Performs further tests to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Welding background preferred for fabricating.
  • Three to five years of related experience required.
  • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of vehicle repair, including hydraulic repairs.
  • Excellent mechanical repair skills, including ability to visually identify issues, read manuals and work orders, and perform repairs in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and 100 lbs. occasionally.
