Carpenter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

TMJ Construction Services in Ames, Iowa, is looking to add to our team. We are actively seeking a knowledgeable carpenter. Candidates must have knowledge of framing and deck building. Projects will include but are not limited to deck framing, additions, siding, and other small remodeling projects. Candidates must be professional, have a good work ethic, a valid license, and reliable transportation.

Requirements:

* 5 years of trim carpentry/residential remodeling

* 5 years of leadership experience

* Demonstrated ability to lead a team

* Demonstrated ability to work independently

* Excellent organization skills

* Ability to complete projects in a timely manner

* Excellent communication and team leadership skills

* Ability to communicate professionally to both management and clients

* Displays and applies knowledge of up-to-date construction techniques, and understands current codes

* Ability to organize and communicate effectively with subcontractors

* Must hold a valid U.S. driver's license
