The Community Resource Navigator will support refugee childcare providers in language-appropriate training and skill development, provide services to clients in both a classroom and in-home setting, coordinate classes related to home safety and HHS regulations for childcare, assist providers in meeting HHS health and safety requirements, business development, quality improvements, and community referrals, and support implementation of the Individual Development Accounts (IDA) program that promotes greater economic stability among refugees.

Responsibilities- Support refugee childcare providers in language-appropriate training and skill development.
- Provide services to clients in classroom and in-home settings.
- Coordinate classes related to home safety and HHS regulations for childcare.
- Conduct home visits to support compliance with HHS health and safety requirements, business development, quality improvements, and community referrals.
- Support implementation of the Individual Development Accounts (IDA) program.
- Work primarily in-person, with some remote opportunity.
- Occasional evening and weekend hours required.
- Speak both Tigrinya and Kunama (ideal) with one language acceptable.
- Support the Childcare Business Development program.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of related experience.
- Ability to communicate successfully in English, Tigrinya, and Kunama.
- Lived experience with the populations served may be considered qualifying.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, good driving record, and ability to pass extensive background checks including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry, and a criminal history check.
