Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications and/or application initiatives Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. This Java Developer role is part of the CORE team within the Consumer Lending Technology Group. This role will act as a lead and develop application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs Some of the main responsibilities include:
Analyze highly complex business requirements Generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts Leverage industry (Java and J2EE) best practices to design, test, implement and support a multi-tier origination J2EE solution working with an Oracle DB Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area Hands-on development experience is critical to this role and will constitute a majority of the responsibility The ideal candidate for this role will be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment Candidate must have the ability to adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner

Production Support experience Demonstrated analytical and reverse engineering experience Prior work experience in the financial industry.
