At the forefront of innovation at SHI, this Software Engineer – AI position will build and ship AI-powered applications on Azure. This role will develop Python services, APIs, React front ends, build containers, and CI/CD pipelines from design through production.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain software solutions primarily using Python deployed in Azure.
• Ensure stability, efficiency, security, and quality of all shipped code by supporting continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Support runtime platform maintenance, integration of new features, and release fixes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and support continuous development efforts.

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ Years of experience professionally developing Python software
• 12+ months of recent hands-on experience designing, building,and deploying solutions on Azure
• Strong API development skills with knowledge of security practices
• Proficient with SQL, No
  
  SQL, and vector databases (e.g., Azure SQL, Postgre

• Ability to build and deploy containers (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS)
• Skilled in CI/CD using Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub Actions
• Azure Certification preferred
• Ability to travel 10%
