Job Description We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join the delivery team within our Experience organization s is your chance to build meaningful digital experiences that directly enhance how our members interact with us every day. You’ll design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and document robust software solutions that advance Wellmark’s business strategy and Technology vision — all while ensuring your work meets project specifications, quality standards, and delivers exceptional member value.  

As a true full-stack contributor, you’ll work across the stack (with the balance of front-end and back-end shifting based on each feature). You will preferably bring strong experience with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js), Git Hub, and Git Hub Actions for CI/CD, plus hands-on work in AWS. You’ll collaborate closely with other Technology teams and business units to improve user experience, meet accessibility and usability standards, explore smart technology alternatives, and support seamless system integration.

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field of study and at least 1 year of software development experience (e.g., Angular, NodeJS, Type Script, C++, .NET, Java, SQL) OR 5+ years of related and applicable experience. Strong analytical problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and experience troubleshooting and developing technical solutions. Strong ability to gather information, conduct root cause analysis, define problems, recommend solutions, verify outcomes, and optimize results using data.

Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Ability to communicate with and coach/mentor team members while demonstrating professionalism and accountability. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and strong time management skills. Eagerness to learn, stay current on industry trends, and maintain a continuous learning mindset. Ability to collaborate effectively and earn trust and respect from peers, leadership, and stakeholders.
