Key Responsibilities
  • Process Improvement
    Identify, design, and develop tooling and masking aides to enhance ergonomic support and reduce costs.
  • Standardize and document processes to ensure consistency and repeatability of best practices.
  • Research and develop best practice processes and drive continuous improvement of tooling and manufacturing methods.
  • Data Analysis And Reporting
    Analyze data to identify and implement opportunities for productivity.
  • Monitor quality outputs and resolve root causes of failures or rework using analytical and statistical methods.
  • Technical Support
    Provide overall technical support to processing work centers and operations management.
  • Evaluate, test, and implement cutting-edge technologies for productivity and cost savings.
  • Collaboration And Leadership
    Work with Operations management team to improve throughput, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery.
  • Promote collaboration across departments to enhance cost savings and implement productivity initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (Solid Works/CATIA preferred);
    Experience with CNC machinery and ERP systems (Infor Syteline a plus);
    Advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis;
    Power BI knowledge is a plus;
    Familiarity with 3D printing preferred.
  • Experience: Bachelor s degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field; 1-2 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
  • Soft Skills: Aerospace or metal/surface finishing experience is preferred;
    Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills;
    Strong analytical and decision-making abilities with a focus on customer service;
    Self-motivated and adaptable to a changing environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Other Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Export license required for non-U.S. persons);
    Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana.
Essential Mental/Physical Demands

Extensive use of hands in writing, use of computer and other office equipment. Sitting for long periods of time in an office environment. Ability to travel on airplanes or in vehicles for long periods of time. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. on an occasional basis. Within the production environment.
