Key Responsibilities of the Senior Controls Engineer:

• To design, plan and develop PLC control solutions
• Assist in the development of OT layer cyber security solutions.
• Produce technical documentation, complete specification, costings and time plan for each assigned project
• Write the FDS for projects as required and co-ordinate with colleagues within Engineering and within Systems to ensure alignment of functionality and interfaces.
• Develop PLC software and HMI code for projects and to commission the software on site
• Provide support to other departments, participate in design planning

Qualifications & Experience needed for the Senior Controls Engineer:

• Expert in Siemens TIA Portal, Simatic Manager, Siemens TIA Safety
• Experience of VFD control, Safety hardware and Barcode readers, Allan Bradley PLC programming
• Knowledge of IEC 61131
• Degree, HND or HNC in Engineering and competent in Windows based systems
