Shift: Panama Shift (2 x Weeks Days & 2 Weeks Nights) Looking for a Maintenance Engineer role with excellent earning potential, paid breaks, job security, and a site that genuinely values engineering? We're recruiting for a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site in North Walsham. This is a permanent opportunity within a structured engineering team, supporting modern production equipment and helping maintain high standards of reliability across the site.

What's on Offer Salary of £50,536 1-hour paid break every shift Average 42-hour working week Panama shift pattern offering regular time off 23 days holiday 4% employer pension contribution Death in service cover Ongoing training and development Stable, long-term manufacturing environment Modern machinery and ongoing site investment Well-structured engineering department with clear standards and processes What You'll Be Doing Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults to minimise downtime Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Supporting electrical fault finding and repairs where required Maintaining injection moulding machinery and associated equipment Identifying recurring faults and contributing to continuous improvement activities Completing maintenance records and shift handovers accurately Working safely and maintaining high engineering standards at all times What We're Looking For Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong mechanical maintenance background Recognised mechanical engineering qualification

Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics Electrical fault-finding experience beneficial but not essential Injection moulding experience advantageous but not required A proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance Comfortable working within a rotating shift pattern Shift Pattern Panama Shift (C Shift) 2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights 6am6pm / 6pm6am rotation Average 42 hours per week Regular extended periods off throughout the rotation 1-hour paid break included within every shift If you're a Maintenance Engineer looking for strong earnings, paid breaks, long-term stability, and a business that invests in its engineering team, we'd like to hear from you.
