Full-time, Permanent We are working with our client to find a new Financial Manager. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will have strong management experience, a proven track record in financial leadership within the manufacturing sector, and a recognised professional finance certification.
Key Responsibilities - Manage all aspects of the companys financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance.
- Oversee month-end and year-end financial processes and ensure accuracy in financial statements.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
- Work closely with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Monitor cash flow, manage financial risk, and oversee cost control initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to improve financial performance and resource utilisation. Requirements - Proven experience as a Finance Manager within a manufacturing environment (minimum 35 years preferred).
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA (or equivalent).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and management accounting.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Sage, or similar).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
