Night Hygiene Manager

Location:

Kettering Shift Pattern:
Permanent Nights (18:00 - 06:00)

Week 1:
Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Country Style Foods is an award-winning modern craft bakery, supplying high-quality bakery products to leading retailers and food service providers across the UK.

We are currently looking for an experienced Night Hygiene Manager to join our Kettering site. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business offering long-term career development and progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Night Hygiene Team to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and food safety are maintained.
  • Plan and coordinate hygiene activities in line with production requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, COSHH, and Health & Safety standards.
  • Conduct hygiene inspections, audits, and verification checks.
  • Drive continuous improvement and promote best practice across the site.
  • Manage hygiene resources, including labour, equipment, and cleaning materials.
  • Support employee training, development, attendance, and performance management.
  • Work closely with Production, Technical, and Engineering teams to support operational efficiency.

About You

  • Previous experience within a Hygiene Department in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading and managing teams.
  • HACCP and COSHH trained.
  • Strong knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and GMP standards.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to motivate and develop others.

Desirable:

  • Train the Trainer qualification.
  • Food Safety qualification.
  • Bakery manufacturing experience.
