Position Summary
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing accounting operations across a multi-entity environment. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial statements, reports, and accounting records for multiple legal entities. The Accounting Manager will lead day-to-day accounting functions, support financial close processes, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee accounting operations for multiple entities, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all financial records
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for all entities
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses
Ensure compliance with GAAP (or other applicable accounting standards), company policies, and regulatory requirements
Maintain and strengthen internal controls across all entities and financial operations
Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
Manage intercompany accounting, eliminations, and reconciliations
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other third-party professionals
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and efficiencies
Support special projects and financial analyses as needed

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent preferred)
Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a multi-entity environment
Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation, general ledger accounting, and reporting
Experience managing intercompany transactions and consolidations
Proficiency with accounting systems and ERP software; strong Excel skills required
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proven leadership and team management experience
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Experience
Experience in a fast-paced or growing organization
Prior experience leading accounting teams across multiple entities or locations
Familiarity with process improvement and system implementations
