Reporting directly to the City Manager, the Director of Finance supervises the entire Financial Services Department, ensuring fiscal stability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across budgeting, accounting, payroll, purchasing, and financial reporting.

• Lead strategic and day‑to‑day department operations, including budget development, financial forecasting, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Direct staffing functions: recruitment, performance management, coaching, and training.
• Conduct priority‑based budgeting, long‑term financial forecasting, and technology integration for data‑driven decision‑making.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal departments, elected officials, and external agencies, including contract negotiation and public presentation.
• Communicate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels.

• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of director or assistant director level experience in municipal finance.
• CPA or other finance certifications preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
