Occupational Therapist (OT) – Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health

We are looking for a certified Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide treatment programs for pediatric patients with physical, cognitive, sensory, and social/emotional disabilities or delays. This role involves planning and administering occupational therapy in the home and community settings.

$57,200 - $114,000 + $2,000 Sign On Bonus

• Texas State OT license
• Current CPR certification
• A minimum of 1 year of experience preferred

• Provide high-quality care by performing evaluations and interpreting assessment results; develop goals appropriate for the child; create and implement occupational therapy treatment plans in conjunction with the physician.
• Assist pediatric and young adult patients in physical, neurological, cognitive, sensory, feeding, ADL, and social/emotional development, improving their independence through skilled interventions.
• Educate, coach, and empower caregivers and families to carry over therapeutic activities into the child's daily routine.
• Coordinate with referral partners to provide services for children in accordance with physician orders.
• Ensure continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing and instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs.
• Document patient care services and care coordination in an intuitive electronic medical record system.
• Maintain patient confidence by keeping information confidential.
