Indian Bayou Golf Club IPM Technician
Indian Bayou Golf Club is seeking an individual for the position of IPM Technician.
The integrated pest management program is designed to address the management of pest pressures in turf, ornamental plants including trees and shrubs, native areas and lakes. This includes application of plant protectants such as fungicides, algaecides, insecticides and herbicides. It also includes managing plant health through fertillization, promoting proper soil drainage, sunlight exposure and air movement.
The spray tech will be involved in all aspects of the IPM program.
Responsibilities- Applications of liquid and granular plant protectants, fertilizers and soil amendments.
- Record keeping of all applications.
- Managing inventory of all plant protect ant products and fertilizers including organization and cleanliness of product storage.
- Calibration and maintenance of application equipment including sprayers and spreaders.
As assistant-in-training the person in this position will be exposed to staff management, scheduling, project planning and management and will be considered for beginning level supervisory duties.

We maintain Tif Eagle greens, 100 acres of 419 bermuda tees, fairways and roughs and Zeon zoysia in our clubhouse grounds. We also manage 14 acres of lakes and approximately 30 acres of maintained native areas.
Requirements- Must already have or obtain FL pesticide applicators license in a timely manner.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
