The Cat Clinic of Destin is a full-service, feline-only veterinary hospital offering comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. We serve clients from the Emerald Coast region including Okaloosa and Walton County. Since April 2000 we have provided advanced diagnostic procedures with digital radiology, ultrasound, and an in-house state-of-the-art laboratory.
Position PurposeExternship program to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help them become practice ready by their first day in practice.
Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. Length of externship is flexible and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Qualifications- Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
- Must be able to provide student PLIT
