Cashiers create welcoming customer experiences and provide a seamless checkout. They process transactions accurately, maintain customer information in the POS system, and keep the cashwrap area clean and organized. The position may be full-time or part-time, depending on availability and business needs.
Responsibilities- Greet customers, answer inquiries, share product knowledge, and support cross-selling and upselling.
- Process sales, returns, promotional offers, and Ship to Home orders accurately.
- Maintain customer profiles and salesperson data in the POS system.
- Keep the cashwrap and queue area clean, support visual merchandising standards, and complete required training.
- Collaborate with the team and uphold company standards and policies.
- Retail or similar experience in a high-volume or specialty environment preferred.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Ability to operate a register, stand and walk for multiple hours, and lift or climb as required.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.
