Production Artist

Overview

At Lakeshirts, we craft bold designs for iconic gear. We’re looking for a Production Artist who thrives in a fast‑paced, creative environment to support our screen print production floor. This onsite role is based at our Detroit Lakes, MN location and plays a key part in ensuring quality, accuracy, and alignment across thousands of vibrant, adventure‑inspired products.

• Review and prep artwork to meet screen print standards using Adobe Illustrator
• Identify screens that are missing or damaged and coordinate reburns as needed
• Update designs and communicate production errors for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with leads and production teams to maintain high‑quality output
• Track and record inconsistencies to enhance Production Artist file readiness
• Support daily workflow tasks including DTS sending, namedrop edits, and art proofs
• Flex daily workload based on production schedule and department needs

• 2‑ or 4‑year Graphic Design degree required
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and strong with computer‑based tasks
• Detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple interruptions
• Clear communicator with solid time management skills
• Self‑starter who enjoys collaborating and working cross‑functionally
• Must be reliable, flexible, and comfortable working onsite in a production setting with temperature variation and interruptions

$18/hr
