PHYSICIAN - Emergency Medicine
, Detroit Lakes, MN

Position: 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) – 11 shifts per month with occasional additional shifts.

• 24‑hour coverage: 12‑hour shifts (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., single coverage 1 a.m.–9 a.m.) with additional coverage during peak volume times.
• Annual patient volume: 13,000–14,000 visits.
• Level III Trauma Center, Joint Commission accredited.
• NP/PA coverage weekdays and weekends (9 a.m.–1 a.m., 7 days a week).
• Collegial team‑oriented department; currently 4 physicians in specialty; adding 5th.
• Average patient volume: 16–18 per day.
• EPIC DAX ambient voice for documentation.
• Flexible scheduling and ability to participate in leadership.
• Physician‑led organization with newly remodeled emergency room.
• Excellent compensation with paid malpractice insurance, relocation and benefit package.
• Regional service area serves 97,000 people.

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Emergency Medicine (preferred) or Family Medicine with EM experience; additional EM training acceptable.
• ACLS, ATLS/CALS, PALS certification.

Hourly rate: $246.51, with potential bonuses, quality incentives, and production‑based compensation.
