Mechanical Design Engineer

InLine Motion is a fast-moving company that is experiencing substantial growth each year. The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated individual that is planning to quickly grow their skills to become an integral member of the company’s present engineering department. Ideally the candidate will continue to grow their skillset to become a future member of the management team.

This job is part of Linked In’s Full-Service Hiring beta program. Eligibility is limited to candidates located in and performing services in the United States, excluding those based in Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, South Carolina, or West Virginia.

• Design product handling systems using Solid Works and Auto Cad
• Create engineering drawings to be released for manufacturing
• Use ERP system for engineering release
• Create technical manuals for the equipment designed
• Work with other team members to improve processes and designs

• Will be required to cross-train in other areas to further develop design for manufacturing skillset

• Advanced understanding of design for manufacturing
• Energetic and eager to learn
• Creative and resourceful

• Experience in designing conveyor systems and automation systems
• Experience in the food and beverage industry
• Understanding of industrial controls/ PLC programming
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering field
