Essentia Health is hiring a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) for the Detroit Lakes clinic.

Job Title: PNP - Pediatrics - Detroit Lakes, MN

Location: St Marys - Detroit Lakes Clinic

Employment Type: Full-time

$55.00/hr - $78.00/hr (noted in company posting)

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including well‑child checkups, immunizations, sports physicals, and adolescent health programs.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly.
• Work independently with physicians and other health‑care professionals while collaborating in a team‑based primary care setting.
• Maintain high levels of customer service to foster positive patient relationships and enhance satisfaction.
• Participate in call rotations and occasional weekend coverage as required (32 patient contact hours with weekly pediatric call).

• Nurse Practitioner:
  Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Physician Assistant:
  Bachelor’s degree in a health or science‑related field.
• Advanced training in pediatrics and certification through PNCB or ANCC (PPCNP‑BC). Current licensure as a registered nurse (if NP) and as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the appropriate state.

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Minnesota.
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant state licensure.
• Current CPR and PALS certification.
• National certification in applicable specialty area.
• Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (primarily clinic hours with call rotation).
• Potential for occasional weekend coverage.
• Approximate patient volume: 16–18 patients per day.

In addition to base pay, eligible candidates may receive bonuses, quality incentives or production‑based compensation.
