Position: HVAC Service Technician

Pay Range: $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience + Performance Bonuses + Year-End Bonus

Lakes Area Plumbing and Heating Inc is seeking a dependable, customer-focused HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Detroit Lakes, MN. In this role, you'll handle residential and light commercial HVAC service calls, maintenance, and repairs—delivering top-quality service to our loyal customer base. • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Perform routine maintenance, system inspections, and tune-ups
• Install replacement components and system upgrades as needed
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining system issues and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and timely service records and reports
• Represent the company professionally in all interactions
• Comply with all safety protocols and company policies

• 3 years of HVAC service experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• EPA 608 Certification preferred
• Strong understanding of heating and refrigeration systems
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or within a team
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certifications

Hybrid Position based in Detroit Lakes, MN

Some field service work throughout the surrounding area
