Accounts Payable Specialist

Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing software company. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment and works well cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors.

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Review invoices for proper approvals, coding, and compliance
• Maintain vendor records and resolve billing discrepancies
• Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs (ACH, wire, check)
• Reconcile accounts payable subledger to the general ledger
• Assist with month-end close and accruals related to expenses
• Support audits by providing documentation and reports as needed
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment status
• Assist with process improvements and automation initiatives

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounts payable experience (software or technology industry preferred)
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems (Net Suite, Quick Books, SAP, or similar)
• Strong understanding of AP processes and internal controls
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
