- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of experience in governmental accounting
- Compliance / Auditing
- Experience working with a budget
- Master’s Degree
- Knowledge of GASB CPA
The Accountant will be responsible for monitoring compliance with general and specific grant requirements contained in the various grants awarded to the organization. This person will also interpret regulations and policies for the departments, monitor funded projects to prevent over‑expenditure of funds, manage audits and disallowances, and ensure awards are fully awarded.
