Shop Foreman

Ray Laethem Dealershipis seeking a skilled and motivated Shop Foreman to lead our service department. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing our team of automotive technicians, coordinating daily workflows, and ensuring the highest level of service and efficiency in the shop.

The ideal Shop Foremancandidateis highly organized, experienced in automotive repair and service operations, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This person will also serve as our Warranty Administrator, managing all warranty- related processes and ensuring compliance with manufacture requirements.

• Oversee and manage all service department operations
• Assign work to technicians based on skill level and availability
• Maximize workflow and productivity throughout the shop
• Ensure quality control and timely completion of service orders
• Act as the primary Warranty Administrator: submit, track, and reconcile warranty claims
• Work closely work service advisors and parts staff to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor shop performance and help identify areas for improvement
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment for the service department

• Proven experience as a technician, shop foreman, or service manager in the automotive industry
• Strong leadership and organization skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and direct a team effectively
• Solid understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics
• Experience with warranty administration preferred
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and technology skills.
