Detroit Experience Studio is an immersive program where students are taught the fundamental aspects of working in a creative agency. To make each cohort successful, the program relies on volunteers to support students both directly and indirectly. • Youth Educator (lead and teach a class in your subject matter expertise area)
• Rotating Mentor (support a group of DES students throughout the cohort)
• Class Support (assist DES staff to manage and support student and classroom needs)
• Event Support (prep and/or day-of support for DES events)

• Available to volunteer for the required time period
• Able to attend in-person unless remote support is an option
• Complete additional background checks
• Complete necessary training to work with and support students

We are looking for volunteers for the Fall 2025 Cohort!

• The Fall 2025 Cohort runs October 21, 2025 – January 22, 2026
• Applications must be submitted by September 26, 2025
• Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 4-6 pm
• Volunteers are responsible for transportation to and from Hunt Street Station in Detroit
• Meals will be provided for all in-class volunteers
