Position Overview:

We are seeking an Architectural Designer / Project Manager to join our growing team. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for managing architectural projects from initial concept through construction completion.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of independently managing responsibilities while contributing to a collaborative office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, coordinate, and complete schematic design and construction document packages
  • Develop architectural designs and produce complete drawing sets using AutoCAD in accordance with current GAV and AIA standards
  • Compile full construction document sets from start to finish
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Perform project code reviews and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations
  • Monitor project scope, schedules, budgets, and overall progress
  • Allocate and track level of effort across project phases to maintain compliance with fees and timelines
  • Keep management informed of progress, challenges, or resource needs
  • Collaborate with and assist team members as needed to support overall project success

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Professional degree from an NCARB-accredited school
  • 3–5 years of professional architectural experience
  • Strong working knowledge of building codes, construction practices, and engineering systems
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and build long-term professional relationships
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple design disciplines
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Authorized to work in the United States
