Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI is seeking a full‑time Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist Physician to function as an OB hospitalist at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. Shifts range from 10 to 24 hours depending on preference.
Henry Ford Hospital‑Detroit has received the Joint Commission Maternal Levels of Care IV verification and offers level III perinatal services. Maternal Fetal Medicine consults, Neonatology, and in‑house Anesthesia coverage are available 24/7 with an average of 200 deliveries per month. All OB/GYN specialties are represented in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology which includes a 20‑resident ACGME-accredited training program and a clinically strong OB/GYN generalist service and high‑risk antepartum unit.
Responsibilities- Management of residents as they evaluate and treat patients in the emergency room, OB triage, labor and delivery and the OR
- Provide appropriate oversight and clinical teaching of medical students, residents and other learners
- Complete OB and GYN consults, including those from the Emergency Department
- Perform minor GYN surgeries

Qualifications- Board‑certified or Board‑eligible OB/GYN (MD or DO)
