Headache Medicine - Neurologist

The Department of Neurology at Henry Ford Medical Center Fairlane is seeking a board eligible/certified neurologist with additional UCNS-accredited fellowship training in headache to join our multi-disciplinary neurology team.

With three UCNS-certified headache specialists and one physician assistant, our program has over 30 years of experience in the medical management of headache and migraine. Our busy clinical practice treats over 3,000 headache and migraine patients per year and includes:

• An outpatient headache infusion center
• A procedure clinic which includes peripheral nerve blocks and botulinum toxin injections.

Additionally, our department collaborates with the departments of ENT, Pain, Neurosurgery, and other clinical teams that care for patients with headache and facial pain disorders. With almost 60 neurologists total, including subspecialists in MS, stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular, pediatrics, movement disorders, and behavioral neurology, Henry Ford's Neuroscience Institute is one of the largest and most active in the Midwest, offering advanced neurologic medical and surgical therapies.

As an academic program, we are active in clinical trials and neurology research. This subspecialty practice position offers time for educational and other academic endeavors, including a teaching role with medical students, neurology residents, and fellows. A tenure-track academic appointment is offered through Wayne State University School of Medicine.

• Must have completed an ACGME/AOA approved Neurology residency program.
• Must have completed or currently completing a Headache Medicine fellowship program.
• Current board certification is desired.
